Littlehampton Rememberance Day
On the lead up to remembrance Sunday the Littlehampton AFVBC Were asked to provide a parade marshall. As our "gob on legs" happened to be the club standard bearer, we put out the call for a volunteer to step in. Well, Kevin volunteered to take up the role given his history as a former RBL Standard bearer. Suffice it to say his disability proved to be no obstacle. Given the obvious disadvantage, it was a surprise, but Kevin was a willing and able volunteer. Kevin is living proof that being disabled does not mean that people have to be excluded.
It was with great pride as an local group that we were able to set such a strong example for others and hopefully inspire those with a disability to try something outside of their comfort zone.
